Scott D. Jackson Leadership Award
Scott D. Jackson believed in the power of associations. Nearly thirty years ago, he joined with a group of like-minded individuals to establish the Pennsylvania Society of Association Executives. Throughout his life, Scott dedicated himself to excellence in his association as well as PASAE, serving as Chair in 2003 and 2004. Each year, PASAE honors an association management professional who exemplifies Scott’s leadership skills.

The PASAE Foundation was created to complement PASAE’s support of Pennsylvania’s association community.
Scott D. Jackson believed in the power of associations. Nearly thirty years ago, he joined with a group of like-minded individuals to establish the Pennsylvania Society of Association Executives. Each year, PASAE Foundation honors an association management who exemplifies Scott’s leadership skills.
The Scott D. Jackson Leadership Award includes:
A presentation eagle
A $500 contribution to PASAE in the recipient’s name
Inclusion on a permanent plaque honoring all Scott D. Jackson Leadership Recipients
An invitation to serve on the PASAE Foundation Awards Committee
Any individual or association that is a PASAE member may nominate an individual meeting the award criteria by completing the attached application. The PASAE Foundation Awards Committee will review nominees and, if appropriate, name a recipient. The award will be presented during the PASAE Foundation Event in November.
To be nominated, candidates must meet the following criteria:
A member of an Association Executive leadership team
At least 10 years of association management experience
Have a demonstrated long-standing commitment to PASAE through leadership and service to PASAE above the level of participatory, innovative and outstanding programming for PASAE, event participation, statesmanship, and mentoring.
A call for the 2022 nominations will be issued in the fall.
